Chad B. Hess

Chad represents clients in complex civil litigation throughout North Florida and the Panhandle. He regularly advocates for clients in medical malpractice, product and pharmaceutical liability, construction defect, premises liability, and business torts cases. He enjoys helping clients in technically complex disputes, where a steady hand on the determinative issues is critical to success.

Chad received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Flagler College in 1996. He was awarded the degree of Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in 1999. Thereafter, he readied himself for admission to the bar on the campus of the University of South Carolina School of Law and was admitted to practice in all South Carolina and Florida state courts as well as the United States District Courts for the District of South Carolina and the Northern, Middle and Southern Districts of Florida.  Chad broadened his horizons after law school and practiced in Washington, D.C., where he represented clients in mass tort, aviation products liability, and civil rights cases, and in South Carolina, where he practiced in general civil litigation and insurance defense settings.

Chad resides in Tallahassee with his wife and twin sons. He and his family are active members of St. Peter’s Anglican Church, where Chad has served in a variety of lay ministries over the years. In addition to the ambitious task of keeping up with two active boys, he enjoys travel, the outdoors, and all things old fashioned.
